Hayley Orrantia is the American performer, songwriter and actress. She is best known as Erica Goldberg from the TV comedy series "The Goldbergs". While she is a performer but her main passion is music. According to her, music has always been her first obsession. When she was 12, music became important enough to begin professional training. At the age of 13 when she began writing her own music. The first album she released as a cover wasn't released until fourteen years later. The music has never stopped since then. Orrantia was raised in the USA, yet is of Hispanic origins. She has Hispanic roots even if she was only able to speak English when she was a kid and spent her entire life in America. To preserve her heritage, she's learned Spanish and composed songs in that language. She recorded an Spanish version of a song called 'Hasta Verte. Orrantia was picked to perform for the first season during the summer of the year 2011. Orrantia, who was initially chosen through YouTube videos and got four "yeses," from judges who were in Seattle in the live audition stage. Her initial audition was for solo performance, but in "Hollywood week" she was paired along with three female vocalists in a trio for the remainder of the auditions. The live shows were held in the fifth week.
