Ani Difranco

Angela Maria Ani DiFranco (born Angela Maria Ani DiFranco) is an American as well as a Canadian singer-songwriter. There are more than 20 albums that have been released by her. Her music is classified as folk rock and alternative rock but includes influences from punk funk hip beat and jazz. Ani DiFranco, widely regarded as a feminist icon, and Grammy-winning performer, is regarded as the pioneer of DIY music. She was one of the first artists to start her own label in the year 90. DiFranco's parents, Elizabeth (Ross), a previous student at Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Dante Americo DiFranco met each the other when they were each attending.
