Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise (born Tina Louise) is a American writer, performer and performer well-known for her character Ginger Grant in Gilligan's Island. The stage debut of her career started in the 1950s, with Two's Company, a Bettle-Davis musical. In the 1950s, she acted as a stage artist in several Broadway shows before gaining her way to national prominence with Li'l Abner's debut in 1957. Her album, It's Too Late for Tina that in the same year. Louise first made it to Hollywood in the role of Griselda Walden, in God's Small Acre, a film from 1957 that was a dramatic. This movie was a big hit and Louise even won the Golden Globe Award at the New Star of the Award category. When she was in New York, Louise enrolled at Actors Studio and began her friendship with Lee Strasberg. The next memorable role she played was in 1964. She signed with CBS for the role of Ginger Grant. Louise worked successfully in both Hollywood and Broadway, playing somber characters to counter her image of glamour doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. SG-1 as Helen Magnus and Sanctuary. But, over the last few years she also became a well-known director on popular TV series like Supernatural as well as The 100. The family she was born into moved from Essex to Toronto, where she spent her childhood and teenage years. Samantha Carter was chosen in 1997 for the role, and has been settling down in Toronto ever since.
