Zoe-perry
Perry was the daughter of Laurie Metcalf (actor) and Jeff Perry (actor). On the ABC sitcom Roseanne (as seen by flashback) her mother played Jackie Harris in two of Perry's early TV appearances. In fear of stress, her parents were not keen to let the actress pursue acting until she reached the age of 18. Perry shy and shy for acting in school, began performing in theater classes at Northwestern University because she wanted to make new friends. Following her graduation, Perry went into New York to search for jobs on television, landing small parts in shows like Law & Order: Criminal Intent However, she was stricken by homelessness and brought her back to California which is where she discovered theater jobs. Perry was a part of the cast with her mother on stage in The Other Place at Broadway at the end of 2013. Kevin McKidd, her father Kevin McKidd performed in Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer Prize-winning drama Anna Christie with her in 2015. Perry appeared nine times in the ABC thriller The Family, in 2016. In 2017, she played a supporting role in ABC's thriller about politics Scandal in which her father was the main character. The character she played was the younger Mary Cooper (Sheldon Cooper's mother) in Young Sheldon. This spin-off series of CBS's The Big Bang Theory was another portrayal by her younger mother. The part was offered to her through audition, despite the fact that she was a cousin with the role.
